Some more great advice can be found in a book that has a very similar title to this article. The book is “Zen & Horseback Riding: Applying the Principles of Posture, Breath and Awareness to Riding Horses” by Tom Nagel. Nagel explains the importance of the human psoas muscle and how it affects your horse and your riding. Concise and specific instructions combined with with clear explanations–this book is eloquent and amazing!
